Michael R. Grace - Director, Imagineering Market Solutions
With over 25 years in IT & Telecommunications, and nearly 10 of those launching & driving emerging technologies and companies in the Australasian and EMEA markets, Michael Grace has extensive and intensive experience to draw on, when taking a new product line and technology client into todays marketplace.
Michael has initiated, finalised and driven in the order of 50 value added distribution contracts and relationships in the past 6 years alone, delivering market introduction, penetration and revenue growth for this predominantly security related range of vendors. Regional, multi-country distribution contracts and relationships have been established with the calibre of Ingram Micro, the associated reseller recruitment in these years has been vast.
The majority of those distribution relationships continue to exist and thrive today, delivering $millions of revenues annually for the vendors he serviced.
Michael's current role as Vice President, International Business Development with Exinda Networks, sees him responsible for growing Exinda's global marketing, sales and strategic relationships. In this role he also spearheaded senior and engineering staff recruitment in various countries, and has been a member of the core executive team.
Prior roles included General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Network Box Australia, where he established the channel model and reseller marketing, prior to that he served as Regional Director for Fortinet in Europe and was Regional Director for Netscreen in Australia New Zealand. He was previously Regional VP, Sales, for WatchGuard in EMEA. His earlier days included four years building direct enterprise and channel sales for Access One and iPrimus (HotKey) in Australia.
