Typical Disaster Recovery Scenario

XYZ has a number of servers hosted with their favourite provider. As their business grows, they need more redundancy and for insurance purposes, the ability to have a live, off-site version of the web sites.

However, the XYZ web site contains a large volume of data, which would be inefficient - very slow and with high traffic costs - to replicate across the Internet to another location.

Instead, Imagineering can provide co-location facilities for XYZ, with a private, point-to-point, FLAT RATE internet service for the replication data. This ensure that the remote servers are up-to-date, there is a low, fixed, and importantly secure means to transfer data without the worry of normal Internet costs.

What are Point-to-Point Private Data Services?

Imagineering can provide dedicated, point-to-point private data services to most business centres in Australia and Asia-Pacific.

Usually delivered as Ethernet at each end (to simply plug into your network!), speeds can range from 512Kb/512Kb to 1Gb/1Gb. All point-to-point services are FLAT RATE, meaning there is no traffic costs. You can use it as much or as little as you want.

Being a dedicated, private link, point-to-point services are not effected by load or other external Internet issues. They typically run over private Fibre or SHDSL or DSL+ services.
