In August 2004, Imagineering launched its new Internet Data Centre, a purpose-built high availability facility in Melbourne offering a wide variety of hosting and co-location options.

1RU Colocation |

A 1RU server is any server that is 1.75" in height and can be mounted to a standard 19" wide rack, without the use of a shelf.
Imagineering can provide a Keyboard, Video and Mouse so that you can configure your server on arrival, or perform any maintenance tasks in the future. |
2RU Colocation |
| |
A 2RU server is any server that is 3.5" in height and can be mounted to a standard 19" wide rack, without the use of a shelf.
Imagineering can provide a Keyboard, Video and Mouse so that you can configure your server on arrival, or perform any maintenance tasks in the future. |
Desktop Case Colocation |

Imagineering is happy to host any standard-sized desktop cases. Whilst these do not provide the advanced airflow and other advantages of a rack mounted server, they can be a good entry-level server for new initiatives. We only support desktop cases with one or two power supplies at this stage. |
Quarter, Half and Full Racks |
| |
Imagineering can provide any amount of rack space, from 1/4 of a rack (approx 10RU) through to a full rack (42RU), to suit a variety of purposes.
Premium Racks are available with their own dedicated 24-port 10/100Mb or Gbit network switch and an additional, inline 3kva UPS.
Rack space can also be used to house monitors (upto 17" CRT or LCD), tape backup units, routers and modems.

Development or Tower Case Colocation |

Imagineering provides a unique "low-cost" server colocation option for those with unusually sized cases, for startups or developers.
Starting from only $100/month, non-racked data centre space is available, with full 100Mb/1Gbit network access and real time monitoring.
Non-rack housed servers do not usually include UPS power, hence the lower cost of hosting.
